*Editor at my undergrad’s writing center
*Law clerk
*secretary/receptionist at a chemical company outside Chicago (thank you, temp agency)
*sales assistant at Southern Living magazine in Chicago, which was by far the coolest job I’ve ever had - my boss had a liquor cabinet in his office and we had happy hour every Friday afternoon. It was awesome. Plus I had lots of free time, so I got paid to surf the internet.
